The first European Digital Health Technology Assessment framework co-created by all stakeholders in the European Health Ecosystem
Health systems worldwide are under constant pressure to provide high-quality services. Digital health technologies (DHTs) can be game-changers in improving the quality of healthcare services, but existing Health Technology Assessment (HTA) methodologies are unable to capture the real added value of DHTs.
EDiHTA will be the first flexible, inclusive, validated and ready-for-use European HTA framework allowing the assessment of different DHTs (e.g. telemedicine, mApps, AI) at different Technology Readiness Levels, territorial levels (national, regional and local) and perspectives (e.g. payer, society, hospital).
We’re proud to announce that Emmanouil Tsiasiotis, Lead Project Manager (UCSC) of the EDiHTA project, will be presenting at the WHO Europe & NICE HTA webinar “HTA of Digital Health Technologies”, taking place on Tuesday, 27 May 2024, from 12:05–12:20 CET.
This week, the EDiHTA consortium convened in Rome for its 3rd in-person General Assembly meeting. The event was hosted by Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) at the Istituti Biologici, bringing together over 30 representatives from 17 EDiHTA partner organisations.
At the upcoming MedTech Forum 2025, our partners, Emmanouil Tsiasiotis from UCSC and Marco Marchetti from AGENAS, will join a panel discussion on the future of digital health assessment in Europe.
This week, EDiHTA was proudly represented by Fruzsina Mezei at the SUSTAIN-HTA Advisory Group meeting held in Budapest.
We are pleased to share that EDiHTA is now officially on Bluesky, a new social platform designed to foster open dialogue and decentralised conversations.
On 26 March, the EDiHTA project took part in an insightful webinar on Digital Health Technology Assessment & System Transformation, organised by Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS).
